Speaking of unattainable ideals, let’s talk about Paul Rudd.  Here he is as Josh in Clueless, being pretentious by the pool.  Cue instantaneous decade long crush.

I recently discovered (thanks Mags!) that he was roomies with Jon Hamm once upon a time and they still play chess together today.  Who needs Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon when you can have One Degree of Hamm?  Honestly, I’m surprised the Universe didn’t collapse onto itself out of pure awesomeness but apparently it was feeling generous because both Paul & Jon went on to earn the success and adoration they so deserve.
